- What's with the ads? I thought you upgraded so you could get away from those dumb things.
Yes, I did buy a domain because Angelfire is lame, and I didn't want people to stay away because of the pop-ups and other unsavory ads. The Amazon ads that you see around the site were put up by me at my discretion, and only pertain to Audrey. This site is a member of the associates program that Amazon has, and any payments that I would receive from people clicking on the ads are paid out in Amazon gift certificates. These certificates will either be given away as contest prizes or used to buy items that will become prizes. I put the ads up to help defray the cost of giving you such good things. :)
- I found a broken link or some other problem with the site. Where do I report it?
You can email me here. Just put "broken link" or something pertaining to the problem in the title of the email so I know what it's about and don't discard it as spam.
- How often are the contests? Or: When's the next contest?
The contests currently don't have any rhyme or reason. They're whenever I stumble across something good that I just have to give away, or when a new book/DVD/other goodie is coming out and I think you need it. Ideally the Amazon associate thing will do well and we'll be able to afford to give away plenty of goodies. I have big plans . . .
- When are the podcasts coming up?
I never said anything about podcasts! But yes, they are coming. There's no definite date yet, but it's whenever we figure out the best way to record and host them, then decide how long the programs will be. I can, however, tell you that they will be excellent podcasts, and will be available for anyone and everyone to listen to, iPod or not.
- Where can I send my suggestions for the site?
To the trash. No, I'm just kidding. I'd love to hear any valid way I can improve this place for you. Whether it be ideas for new pages or existing pages, pictures, colour schemes or what have you, send a letter here and we'll see what can be done.
Please read the biography first before sending questions. I know the biography is sparse, but it really is best to read a whole book on her if you really want to know more about her. I say this because we really are lucky to have some excellent, easy to read biographies on her out there. I read them back when I was a new fan and it opened up a whole new side of her to me. I guarantee that you'll be the better for taking the time to read any of the suggested books. Also available is a very thorough Wikipedia page on Audrey that's constantly being updated. Try that page, too.
If the biography page and/or a book still hasn't answered your questions, then drop me a line and I'll see if I can't find the answer for you.
